ABOUT IO
The I in IO stands for Izzy, and the O stands for Oliver.
Long-standing family friends, Izzy and Oliver founded IO Design Studio Ltd in 2022.
IO Design Studio is a boutique design studio specialising in Interior Design, Architectural Design, textile and wallpaper design.
The award winning studio works on both residential and commercial projects, creating spaces that are beautiful, well considered and designed to last.
Known for its approachable and collaborative way of working, IO Design Studio combines creative ideas with practical solutions, guiding projects from concept through to completion.
Alongside its Interior Design and Architectural services, the studio has developed its own collection of furnishing fabrics, wallpapers and cushions. Each design is hand painted in the Shropshire studio and proudly printed and manufactured in the UK.

ABOUT IZZY
Izzy grew up in Shropshire and has always had a passion for Art and Design, as well as working with people.
Izzy graduated from Loughborough University in 2015 with a First Class Honours degree in Textile Design before moving to London to work as an in-house Print Designer for luxury lifestyle brand, Designers Guild.
Her background in textiles gave her a strong understanding of colour, pattern, and texture —skills that continue to influence her design approach today.
She later studied Interior Design at the prestigious KLC School of Design, broadening her experience across Interiors and Architecture. During Izzy’s time at KLC, she won the Porta Romana design prize.
After returning home to Shropshire with her husband to raise their two daughters, Izzy and Oliver joined forces and founded IO Design Studio in 2022.
Since then, the studio has evolved to offer Interior Design, Architectural Design, and most recently, an exclusive interior furnishings collection— each created with the client at the heart of the design process.

ABOUT OLIVER
Oliver grew up in Shropshire and has always had a passion for art, design and architecture.
After graduating from the University of Leeds with a degree in Fine Art, he began his career as an Architectural Designer at an award-winning architectural practice. During this time, he gained valuable experience across a wide range of residential and commercial projects, developing a practical, detail-focused approach and helping clients turn their ideas into well-designed spaces.
In 2022, Oliver and Izzy founded IO Design Studio with a shared vision of creating a design practice that is approachable, collaborative and centred around the client. They enjoy working closely with clients from the earliest ideas through to completion, creating spaces that are both functional and thoughtfully designed.
Alongside running IO Design Studio, Oliver is currently studying Architecture at Oxford Brookes University, reflecting his commitment to continually developing the knowledge and skills he brings to every project.
